What makes The Midway unique for corporate events?
The Midway is one of San Francisco’s most versatile large-format venues. Located in the Dogpatch district at 900 Marin Street, the venue spans 40,000 square feet across multiple distinct indoor and outdoor spaces, including the main hall (Ride), the intimate lounge (Gods & Monsters), a rooftop deck, an outdoor patio, a gallery space, and a teaching kitchen.
For corporate conferences and summits, this layout allows event producers to run simultaneous programming tracks, keynotes, breakout sessions, sponsor activations, and networking receptions across the full campus without congestion. The Midway has hosted events for companies including MongoDB, WIRED, Modern Treasury, and Together AI.

We’ve had the privilege of serving as the lead event photography team for two major tech conferences at The Midway. Each event activated the full venue, from production-lit keynotes in Ride to rooftop networking receptions, giving us deep, hands-on experience across all of The Midway’s distinct spaces.

Together AI – AI Native Conference 2026
Together AI held its first-ever conference, AI Native Conf, at The Midway. The event brought together 300+ AI founders, engineers, and researchers for a full day of keynotes, panels, sponsor activations, and networking running from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM across the entire venue.
Coverage scope Solo lead photographer covering all rooms: main stage keynotes in Ride, sponsor activations, the rooftop DJ and networking reception, breakout areas, and branded environments throughout.
On-site headshots Photographer Max Tortoriello operated an on-site portrait station, providing attendees with fully retouched professional headshots delivered within one day.
Delivery 150 curated images delivered live during event breaks, plus a full gallery of 500 final images delivered next day, organized by session, space, and moment type.
Modern Treasury – Transfer 2024: Beyond Payments
Modern Treasury held Transfer 2024: Beyond Payments at The Midway, their annual conference bringing together payments experts, finance leaders, and product professionals to discuss the future of money movement. The event was emceed by Ben Gilbert and David Rosenthal of the Acquired podcast, and the closing keynote featured Joe Montana.
Coverage scope: Full event photography across The Midway’s spaces: keynote documentation, panel sessions, sponsor activations, networking moments, and branded environment shots.
