The Index

Our valued clients, by sector

Grouped by industry, because the way a biotech company runs a summit has almost nothing in common with the way a consumer brand runs an activation, and knowing both is the job.

Frequently Asked Questions

About this client list

Do you only work with large companies, or can I book you for a smaller event?

Most of my bookings are not household names. The list on this page leans toward recognizable brands because those are the events I can show publicly, but the majority of my work is small businesses, startups, nonprofits and individual teams planning a single event. I take on projects of every size, from a two-hour executive headshot session to a three-day conference, and price accordingly.

Do you work with companies based outside San Francisco?

Yes. A large share of my bookings come from event planners and marketing teams based elsewhere who are producing an event in the San Francisco Bay Area. I handle the local knowledge for them: venue contacts, load-in timing, house lighting conditions and the shot list their stakeholders will expect.

Can you work under an NDA or to brand guidelines?

Yes. I regularly shoot under non-disclosure agreements and to supplied brand guidelines, including required crops, color treatment and restrictions on which attendees or screens can appear in published frames. Some client work is covered by agreements that prevent me from publishing images, which is why the list of names is longer than the portfolio.

Do you work alone, or do you bring a team?

I work solo for smaller, intimate events. For larger productions, such as full-day conferences or corporate events with concurrent multi-track programming, I bring in up to five vetted associate photographers. Team size is scoped to each client’s budget and coverage needs.
